Closing the Gap in 4IR
The book Closing the Gap gives an overview of the fourth industrial revolution and the impact it is set to have on various sectors in South Africa and Africa. It explores the previous industrial revolutions that have led up to this point and outlines what South Africa’s position has been through each one.
Written from an African perspective, Closing the Gap in 4IR addresses the challenges and fears by pointing to the opportunities presented by new technologies. For more we are joined by the author of the book, Prof Tshilidzi Marwala who is also the Vice Chancellor at the University of Johannesburg.
