Beyond Imagining Issue 2 encourages curiosity, promotes questioning and champions future-focused thinking. Developed by the University of Johannesburg (UJ), it is a magazine dedicated exclusively to exploring, interrogating and advancing developments in the fourth industrial revolution (4IR). And you’re invited along for the ride.
This new era belongs to cyber-physical systems that merge the capabilities of humans and machines. It is the period in which artificial intelligence (AI), genome editing, renewable energy, 3D printing, autonomous vehicles, big data and the Internet of Things combine our physical, digital and biological worlds.
