Ylva Rodny-Gumede (Facilitator) is the Senior Director: Division of Internationalisation and also Professor in the School of Communication at the University of Johannesburg.

She is a Senior Associate Researcher with the Stanhope Centre for International Communications Policy Research at the London School of Economics. She holds a PhD from the School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS), London University as well as an MA degree in Politics from the University of Witwatersrand in South Africa and an MA in Journalism from Cardiff University in the U.K. Ylva is a former journalist and has also worked in marketing and PR. In addition, she has consulted for several government, private and academic institutions in Europe and Southern Africa on issues concerning media and democracy, including the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), the Swedish National Agency for Higher Education, and the SADC Parliamentary Forum. Ylva holds a C 3 rating from the South African National Research Foundation (NRF) and is the current President of the South African Communications and Media Association (SACOMM).

Executive Director: Library and Information Centre and Associate Professor in the Department of Religion Studies, University of Johannesburg

Prof Maria Frahm-Arp obtained her PhD in the Sociology of Religion from Warwick University (UK) at the end of 2006.  She is the author of several book chapters and journal articles on Pentecostal Charismatic Churches in South Africa and the author of ‘Professional Women in Pentecostal Charismatic Churches in South Africa’ (Brill 2010) and ‘Into the Deep: Finding God in the Midst of Suffering’ (2015).  She is the winner of the UJ Humanities Teaching and Learning Award (2014) and the Vice-Chancellors Distinguished Teaching and Learning Award (2016).  In 2017 she worked as the Vice-Dean in the Faculty of Humanities and since March 2018 she has been working as the Executive Director of the Library and Information Centre at UJ.

He leads the Technopreneurship Centre of the School of Consumer Intelligence and Information Systems at University of Johannesburg and is Senior Lecturer in the Department of Applied Information Systems at University of Johannesburg.

Dr Abejide Ade-Ibijola leads the Technopreneurship Centre of the School of Consumer Intelligence and Information Systems at the University of Johannesburg. He is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Applied Information Systems at UJ and holds a PhD in Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence) from the University of the Witwatersrand.

Knowledge Manager at Fasken (Incorporated in South Africa as Bell Dewar Inc)

Karebo Moleya has been a law librarian for 19 years and has worked for the Department of Justice, Society of Advocates, a number of top South African law firms and is currently employed as Knowledge Manager for a Canadian Firm, Fasken. She has a library and knowledge management qualification and is currently studying for a legal qualification with the University of Johannessburg. Karebo is currently serving as Chairperson of OSALL (Organisation of South African Law Libraries) which she recently represented at the British and Ireland Association of Law Libraries in Bournemouth, London.
